CluedUpp Games is the world's biggest geogaming adventure experience, through innovative technology, over 1200 towns and cities in more than 55 countries worldwide have been transformed into the setting for adventure and intrigue. CluedUpp have served over a million and growing daring detectives and wanted to take the pre-game experience and buying experience to the next level with Shopify Plus. We were tasked to create an online experience that not only embodied the immersive feel of their games, the bright and engaging brand but delivered a user experience with Shopify Plus that maximises engagement and sales. Allow customers to find an event with ease by simply typing in their postcode or city and boom . . . the events appear. The project was focused around improving retention with clients too, we rolled out a loyalty program to allow customers to earn points and be incentivised to purchase. We partnered with CluedUpp to deliver an onsite experience that will scale with their continued rapid growth.

Event Finder By Location With Shopify Plus

CluedUpp Games sell tickets to their immersive geogames and needed to immerse customers in the most relevant events near them. Utilising stockist inspired functionality we revolutionised the experience to not only show a map of the nearest events to the customer but also still deliver a strong branded experience. We also utilised the technology on multiple pages across the website and added Google’s address finding technologies for the very best results.

Bespoke Shopify Plus Theme Development

Shopify Plus offers enhanced access to Shopify’s store and allows us to create an online experience built to scale. We initially conducted full discovery on CluedUpp Games to truly immerse ourselves in their identity, goals and mission. With a great foundation, we then began designing a bespoke Shopify Plus theme from the ground up limited by nothing except creativity. Our bespoke themes do not rely on any pre-existing build templates meaning we have true creative freedom over the look and feel of the store. Once fully designed for both mobile and desktop, our Shopify Plus expert development team bought the store to live. We built the store with Shopify’s best development practices, optimised for speed whilst allowing CluedUpp Games to remain fully in control with Shopify’s built-in content management system. We utilised recommended events based on location, incentivised purchases with availability countdown and progress bars to maximise sales We look forward to continue support CluedUpp Games with their impressive growth.

Maximising Customer Retention With Loyalty & Shopify Plus

Offering a loyalty scheme to your customers when using Shopify can be a great way to incentivise purchasing, maximising recurring revenue and also attract more customers too. We integrated a bespoke styled Loyalty integration into CluedUpp Games allowing customers to earn points for on and off site actions including writing reviews, completing their profile, placing an order and following on social media. Our integration allows customers to view, track and redeem their rewards directly from their account area.
