Cambridge Satchel offers some of the most beautiful bags and their new brand identity leverages that aesthetic too, we needed to produce a UI / UX experience that delivered the premium feel that the brand portrays whilst also creating a purchase experience that was seamless, intuitive and performance-centric. We designed prototyped designs for both desktop and mobile considering every step of the journey. Following the creative phases we built a cutting-edge online store 2.0 enabled Shopify Plus theme that is fast and leaves the brand in control of their store. The build leverages Shopify latest features including metaobjects, custom purchase journeys and integration of Shopify Plus partner technology.

Search, Filtering & Recommendations
Allowing customers to find products easily, quickly and tailored towards the individual store visitor was vital to allow customers to see products they are most likely to be interested in. Leveraging the powerhouse and AI of
Klevu, we designed and built an entirely custom integration for Search, Product Filtering and site-wide product recommendations. Store search instantly delivers trending products tailored to the customer whilst returning real-time results lightning-fast without page reload. When customers land on collection pages they are presented with several filtering options that update in real-time. Finally, smart product recommendations can be found across the site leveraging powerful AI suggestions such as; similar products, recently viewed, customers also bought and many more. We leveraged the power that Klevu has to offer whilst ensuring the customer experience was on-brand and intuitive.

Incentivising customers with rewards and reviews.
Maximising customer lifetime value and keeping customers coming back is vital for Cambridge Satchel and finding ways to deliver that within the on-site experience formed a large part of our strategy for this project. Firstly, leveraging the power of
Yotpo Loyalty we built and integrated a rewards program across the store. Key educational pages offer the customer ways to earn and spend rewards, but loyalty messaging can be found throughout the entire customer experience including the product page and within the cart. Continuing the leverage the power of Yotpo, we also integrated Yotpo Reviews to allow customers to write and read reviews pre and post-purchase. Our Yotpo integration maintains site speed and aesthetics at the core by leveraging Yotpo's API and SDK.

Quiz & Product Personalisation
Choosing a bag can be challenging, especially for new customers who might not be familiar with the Cambridge Satchel brand. We designed and built a bespoke product quiz that allows the customer to answer a variety of questions leading them to a selection of the most suitable products based on their answers. The product quiz aids customers in finding the perfect bag for them but also allows the brand to collect the customer's email address to ensure continual communication beyond the interaction.
Lastly, Cambridge Satchel allow customers to personalise their bags with letter or symbols to make a bag very personal. We designed and built an entirely custom personalisation experience that allows customers to add their symbol or text, choose colours and placement on the bag with variable pricing within Shopify.
